Tyler Hoechlin Joins ‘Fifty Shades Darker’

Jamie Dornan-Christian Grey-Fifty Shades Darker

Tyler Hoechlin is the latest actor to be cast in Fifty Shades Darkerthe second movie in EL James best-selling trilogy.  Following the announcement earlier in the week of the casting of Brant Daugherty as Luke Sawyer, Hoechlin has been cast as Boyce Fox.  Fox was a secondary character in the books, only being mentioned as the first person Anastasia signs at her job at the publishing company SIP.  It remains to be seen if James Foley, the new director for Darker, and Niall Leonard (screenwriter) will somehow write a bigger part in for Hoechlin.

Hoechlin is best known for his role as Derek Hale in MTV’s Teen Wolf series.  Other experience includes a role in Road to Perdition, opposite Tom Hanks and a recurring role in the TV series 7th Heaven.
