Emerald City Comic Con what can I say, you were different but I loved you just the same.
Here is my top 10 reasons why.
Sushi on a conveyor belt – if you haven’t ever had this experience you really should. It was fun and had it not been so close to ECCC and our hotel we may never had it.
Patrick Rothfuss – We had the pleasure of sitting in on this guy’s panel and we kinda fall in love with his book. It was like nothing I have ever heard before when it comes to a children’s book but I loved. It was just awesome. Sadly, we were unable to find his table in artists/writers alley. (that place was a mad house) I will own one of his books if not all.
Puglie Pug – the cutest cartoon pug that I have ever seen and I don’t even like pugs but this one was too damn cute. check him out.
Back to the Future – if you grow up in the 80s, you loved these movies and to be in the same room as Doc (Christopher Lloyd), Biff, and the Delorean, well that is just EPIC!!! And who know Thomas Wilson aka Biff was so damn funny. Seriously in tears after his little song.
Cosplayers – As you know Cosplay is a very big part of any comic con and ECCC did not fail to bring out the good, the bad and the AMAZING!! Feel free to stop by my Funko’s instagram page to see some of my favorites.
Wil Wheaton – Sometime being in the right place at the right time, something cool happens and it happens so fast you don’t get to take a pic and that is what happened when I met Wil Wheaton. He was really nice.
Matthew Lewis – I got to meet Neville Longbottom and took a picture with him. He was really sweet and very handsome in person. My Harry Potter Loving heart was beyond happy.

The Ricky Whittle Experience – Ok I have to say I kinda only knew of this guy. I wasn’t really a fan of his but after seeing my besties pictures with him I knew I had to have The Ricky Whittle Experience too. No seriously, I have met my share of famous folks, some were really sweet and awesome and others just plain rude. But Mr. Whittle was everything you wish and hope for when you meet someone famous. He makes you feel like you are the only person in the room. You may only be there with him for 10mins but in that 10mins you have his undivided attention. I am now and will always be a Ricky Whittle fan. If you ever get the chance to please do have The Ricky Whittle Experience, believe me…….so worth it!
Jenn – Seriously the best part of ECCC 2018 was getting to be there with my bestie Jenn. Jenn has had it pretty tuff last year and she is finally coming out of a dark place and stepping into the sun. She is truly beautiful inside and out. We have been friends for about 9 years now and I would be lost without her in my life. Thank you my friend for introducing me to ConLife and to Ricky Whittle. You are the best!! I can’t wait for our next con. Love you!
