TWILIGHT FANS, THE WAIT IS OVER!!!
After 14,000 votes, nearly 1,300 writing submissions, and 150 director pitches, eight finalists (six individuals, and one team of sisters) have created seven incredible short films set in the dynamic world of Twilight. For the last several months, these eight winners have worked closely with Lionsgate, Tongal, Women In Film, and Stephenie Meyer in exploring the origin stories of the characters from The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide.
Today all seven films were made available on the Twilight Facebook Page.
Over the next 2 weeks, fans of the series will have the opportunity to vote for the Grand Prize Winner. Helping to narrow the selections down, voters are joined by a star-studded group of female panelists including Stephenie Meyer, actress Kristen Stewart, Academy Award winners Kate Winslet and Octavia Spencer, Jennifer Lee, the award-winning writer and co-director of Frozen, Emmy Award-winning actress Julie Bowen, and Women In Film President Cathy Schulman.
The grand prize winner will be announced on the week of August 3rd and will receive $100,000, an all-new 2015 Volvo XC90, a trip to Los Angeles, and various career opportunities.
