Soundtrack Sunday

Shaun of the Dead is a Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Film, it’s about a normal man Shaun (Simon Pegg), in a normal dead end job, with a normal friend who discover that the country is being overrun by zombies and they hatch a plan to rescue his ex-girlfriend and mum and take them to the safest place they know. It just so happens that the safest place they know is The Winchester their local pub.

This is a piece of comedic zombie genius and if you haven’t seen it already will have you laughing so hard you might get a sore throat. The cast is amazing with some great British names including Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Lucy Davis, Dylan Moran, Penelope Wilton, Bill Nighy, Martin Freeman amongst others. Shaun and his small group of friends manage to haphazardly get across town and make it to The Winchester.

The songs in this film are those a lot of people will know and are used in a manner that it adds to the fun, I do recommend you watch this film and if you have already then I know you will probably get it out to watch again. Ladies and gentlemen I give you my favourite songs from Shaun of the Dead.
