Jax is released from jail, without proof against him for Tara’s murder, much less any leads at all by the authorities. And of course its mommy dearest who picks him up. Unable to see his boys just yet, Jax heads back to the club, back to the only love he has left.
Gemma holding the fort as usual in her tangle of lies, leads Jax to believe it was the Chinese that put the hit out on Tara. I thought that the opening scene was intense for lack of a better word, the ending scene was savage and sadistic. Now maybe if it was the rightful person who killed Tara sitting in that chair, it would be justice served, but it was an innocent with ties to the Chinese. Now this will start another street war.
It’s too early in the season, but will the truth come out? There are a great many secrets floating around in Charming. Nero (who I adore by the way) is the only one left that knows Gemma was responsible for John Teller’s (Jax’s father) death. And Juice, who is coming more and more unhinged, while hiding out in Wendy’s apartment, was there when Gemma killed Tara. Wendy, after releasing herself from rehab, and finding Juice in her place, knows that he’s in trouble with the club. And that leaves poor Unser, always a cop at heart, knows something isn’t right at Wendy’s. He finds Juice, and we see is him tied up, and Juice looking like he’s going to break at any moment.
Gemma, the master manipulator, who so fiercely would do anything to protect her son, is the cause for his pain not once, but now a second time. Too many lies, too many cover ups, all in the interest of the club and to protect her son, but killing Tara may finally be her downfall. Will Jax finally learn the truth? Will he find a way back from this path of self-destruction?
