Shameless “Frances Francis Franny Frank” Synopsis

What happened on Shameless “Frances Francis Franny Frank”?

As we already mentioned before, Shameless is all about portraying the everyday life of a household. We can clearly see it from the masks they wear, CoVid-19 follows us everywhere. This episode prticularly focuses on the gender equality issue.

Ian and Mickey (Cameron Monaghan and Noel Fisher) are still arguing and discussing about their marriage and on which one of them was man and who the woman. Mickey suddenly becomes the person who has the higher income, helping Vi and Kev (Shanola Hampton and Steve Howey) with their business (illegal, of course). But at the end of the episode, we see that Ian leaves his job after he realises the inequality he was about to suffer.

Instead, Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) has finally succeded in his job. He finally fulfilled his dream of being a true Chicago police officer after meeting his new mentor, who let him do what he likes – catching the bad guy.

But the best part definitely was the unexpected bond between Frank (William H. Macy) and little Franny. In fact, when no one seems to have time to take her to school, Franny ends up with Frank. He tries to take her to school but he arrives to the wrong one and that is the start of their adventure. But  this part also shown Debbie‘s (Emma Kinney) bad behaviour, something we hope to see change soon.

Final Review

I really liked the focus on gender equality in this episode as all the crucial scenes that happened. My top moment of this epsiode was the family moment between Frank and Franny, it really melted my heart. Even if it let me a bit worried about Frank having some kind of condition, even though I shouldn’t be so surprised given his lifestyle? We’ll see in the next episodes if they’ll go deeper into that!

Don’t miss Shameless final season on Sundays at 9PM ET/PT on Showtime!
