On Monday, March 16, in NYC, Shailene Woodley premiered her latest film, Insurgent, in a luxe pair of lace stilettos. But, once the carpet was complete, she ditched them in favor of going barefoot!
Our down-to-earth-chic beauty, teamed a plunging, black Ralph Lauren Collection halter dress that boasted an up-to-there slit and Stuart Weitzman’s embellished “Queen” pumps.
But while leaving the theater later that night, Woodley was spotted bundled up in a gray coat, with a black sweater tucked into one arm and no shoes on her feet!

Just in case you’re keeping count(like we are): Not only did the Descendants actress famously wear her Vibram five-toe shoes to the 2012 Golden Globes, but she also went sans shoes at the L.A. premiere of The Spectacular Now in 2013, and again at the Berlin premiere of Divergent in 2014.
The Secret Life of the American Teenager alum may not be all about heels, but she does love her latest film’s message. When asked on the carpet what brave things she, like her daredevil character Tris, has done in life, the actress told Us Weekly,
“I think that anytime that you’re committed to being yourself, that’s the most courageous act you can do.”
