Shadowhunters – Aku Cinta Kamu Spoiler Free Preview
Synopsis
To try and save Clary (Katherine McNamara) from Jonathan (Luke Baines), Jace (Dominic Sherwood) goes undercover. Back at the Institute, Isabelle (Emeraude Toubia), Simon (Alberto Rosende) and Luke (Isaiah Mustafa) race to find a way to finally destroy Clary’s bond with Jonathan. With time running out, can Isabelle create the solution before Jace’s cover is blown?
OH. MY. GOD.
Well. That was an episode and a half. I alternated between having my jaw on the floor, clapping excitedly like a seal and trying to see through tears. So, make of that what you will.
What? You want more? Okay…here goes
Team Evil
I know a LOT of people have been clamouring for Team Evil and I can confirm you’re going to get your wish. Given that Jace is the unwilling participant, unlike in the books, there is a LOT of confrontation between him and Jonathan. It’s a really interesting dynamic, and one I wish there was more time to play with.
Clary herself has some seriously intense moments, both with her brother and her lover. Katherine McNamara is kind of a revelation as the darker version of herself and it’s amazing to watch!
Clace fans, I need you to prepare yourselves. Especially those of you who have read the books. Because The Bone Chandelier is here. While things don’t quite go as they do in the book scene they are still hot enough to have left me needing to open a window.
Glorious and Heavenly Fire
There’s an interesting twist on the Heavenly Fire plot this week, with a couple of Downworlders finding out about the existence of the serum and what it can do. They want in, setting them against the Shadowhunters and their allies who are trying to use it to save Clary.
Izzy also gets a seriously epic moment towards the end of the episode that harked back to something from season 2 and made me so happy for her.
To the Sizzy fans, there’s a moment between them in this episode that was mostly responsible for the aforementioned seal clapping. For me, it is one for the history books!
Magnus
I don’t want to say too much, because the journey Magnus (Harry Shum Jr.) goes on throughout this episode is absolutely phenomenal and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. I will say that you need to prepare for some truly heart-wrenching scenes. Harry knocks it out of the park! If you don’t feel every emotion Magnus feels in your very bones then I don’t know what to say to you.
To delve more into the episode would be to start ruining key moments, and you know I don’t do that. So I’m going to have to leave it here.
