Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart’s THIS MIGHT GET WEIRD, and CollegeHumor’s DROPOUT

with Special Guest GRIFFIN MCELROY

20th Century Fox’s upcoming action-comedy Stuber, comedians Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart’s podcast This Might Get Weird, and CollegeHumor’s Dropout with special guest Griffin McElroy will bring the laughs this summer to RTX. Rooster Teeth’s annual fan convention and Texas’s largest animation, gaming and comedy experience; RTX takes place July 5-7 in Austin, Texas at the Austin Convention Center, JW Marriott, Fairmont and Hilton hotels.

Stuber

Attendees will have exclusive access to a special screening of Stuber, Saturday July 6 at 8:30pm at the Paramount Theater. This special screening is over a week before the movie’s general release.

When a mild-mannered Uber driver named Stu (Kumail Nanjiani) picks up a passenger (Dave Bautista) who turns out to be a cop hot on the trail of a brutal killer, he’s thrust into a harrowing ordeal where he desperately tries to hold onto his wits, his life and his five-star rating.

Directed by Michael Dowse, this action-comedy also stars Iko Uwais, Natalie Morales, Betty Gilpin, Jimmy Tatro, Mira Sorvino and Karen Gillan. Stuber will be released in theaters July 12th.

This Might Get Weird

YouTube’s favorite comedians, Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart, will appear at RTX with a live version of their podcast, This Might Get Weird. On This Might Get Weird, Grace and Mamrie talk nonsense, common sense and make jokes at their own expense all the while trying to provide you with 30+ minutes of your day you might not hate completely. Come see them live at RTX on Sunday, July 7.

CollegeHumor

CollegeHumor is coming to RTX with a live version of their Dropout show Dimension 20 on Friday, July 5! Goblins, orcs, and elves… in high school? CollegeHumor’s Brennan Lee Mulligan is joined by special guest player Griffin McElroy (My Brother, My Brother and Me, The Adventure Zone) and the Dimension 20 Cast – Emily Axford & Brian Murphy (Not Another D&D Podcast, Hot Date) Ally Beardsley, Zac Oyama, and Siobhan Thompson – for a LIVE action packed side quest of their RPG actual play series Dimension 20: Fantasy High!

Clare Hemsworth

Hey, I'm Clare, aka Ciara or C. My current fandoms are RWBY and The Last Kingdom along with a bunch of other stuff I tend to let build up and then binge! I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal! When I'm not doing the fangirl thing I am a keen long-distance hiker, having completed Te Araroa in New Zealand and The Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the US.
