I had the extreme honour of sitting down with the lead characters in this awesome series. Ma’jah KyrVawn is incredibly beautiful and so down to earth, even though she is the Ascendant and not only important, but powerful too. On the other side, Dem-Shyr TaeDane is very hot, but seems much more serious. He is completely focussed on his job, but has a soft side too. Here is my interview with this gorgeous pair.

First my interview with the Ascendant Ma’jah KyrVawn:

D: Ma’jah KyrVawn, thank you so much for this honour.

K: It is my pleasure Debbie, but please call me Kyr, all my friends do.

D: Of course Kyr. What does it feel like to be the Ascendant?

K: It’s a lot of pressure! When I was younger, I thought it was great. Who wouldn’t want to be the ruler of worlds, right? Now that I’m older, though, I know what a rough deal I’ve got. My parents and the current Advisor aren’t making things any easier.

D: How did you feel every time you realised that you were just training and not living the life you thought you were?

K: It was hard when I was made aware of the “lessons.” I’ve learned that Alametrians are usually sedated and mentally influenced between lessons to make it easier on their psyches, but as I remember more about my home planet and my youth, I remember the times Ty came to me between lessons. He had to offer the same explanation over and over again because my memories had been repressed. Talk about confusing and frustrating for both of us! I can’t say I’m sorry the lessons are over.

D: How do you feel about Ty and his guardianship?

K: I think you know the answer to that. *wink*

D: *giggle* Yes I think I do. Thank you again for your time it was an honour for me.

K: No problem, it really was a pleasure.

Next is my interview with the Dem-Shyr TaeDane:

D: Good day Dem-Shyr TaeDane. thank you for your time.

T: No problem Debbie, but please call me Ty.

D: How did you feel when you were chosen to be Kyr’s guardian?

T: Fate chose me for this role. Kyr and I were born on the same day, at the same time, under the same star. From the time I was old enough to understand what that meant, I’ve been trained and prepared to protect her.

D: When did you know you felt more for her than you should and how did you know she felt the same?

T: It isn’t wise of me to talk of such things. I’m not allowed to have that kind of relationship with Kyr. Since you don’t have a way of communicating with Alametria, though, I suppose it’s safe enough to say that my feelings for Kyr began to change when we were in what humans would term late adolescence or early teens. She had finally learned a life lesson that taught her how fragile life is. It allowed me to see the softer side of her. I’m not so sure when her feelings for me began to change, but I’m glad they did.

D: Tell us about Kyr’s travels, as she did her training from your point of view?

T: I’m not allowed to reveal the details of any intergalactic travel pertaining to Ma’jah Kyr. We can’t have enemies learning our flight paths, after all. In general, though, we left Alametria when Kyr entered her adolescence so that she could learn important life lessons. I either shadowed her on the planet or viewed things from our ship, depending on the expected length of the lesson. Only rarely did I intervene and reveal my presence to her.

D: Thank you for being so open with me Ty, I really appreciate it.

T: My pleasure Debbie, however we should go now, have a good day further.

Phew, when I finally got over the awe I felt, I had an interview with the incredibly talented Raine Thomas too. However you will have to come back tomorrow to see that.
