Review: Fear The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 9 – People Like Us

Last night’s Mid-Season Premiere of Fear The Walking Dead got us all shook right? I was shocked at the ending of episode 8 to be honest so I was damn curious of how the characters will continue their journey.

If you haven’t seen the episode yet – be aware of the spoilers when you keep reading!

Morgan Jones and his awesomness

I for myself am a HUGE Morgan (Lennie James) fan – him kicking ass with that stick and a freaking bullet in his knee? I mean come on, who can get through an apocalyptic world like that without dying? He’s just such a special character and I am SO happy he joined the Fear The Walking Dead family.

But him thinking about going back to Alexandria? Nooooo he can’t leave again.

Al and her beloved Truck & it’s belongings

Okay.. I am not sure what to think of Al (Maggie Grace) yet but as we all know by now she protects that camera and the tapes with her life. She is a really twisted character and I am more than curious to learn about HER story. After all she is recording everyones stories but we don’t know anything about hers. Let’s hope we will find out more about that soon!

Little site note tho… HOW much battery has that freaking camera from Al? How is she charging it the whole time? That would be interesting to know!

Strand and the booze

Strand (Colman Domingo) just drinking and enjoying himself is amazing – this man had to go through a lot over the last episodes so I kinda get it.

Alicia and Morgan

Alycia became such a badass woman and she totally comes after her mom already. She is just kinda like zombie killing machine at the moment. No fear, no regrets just going on doing her thing.

After losing her mom (Kim Dickens) and then her brother, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) has to cope with a lot. But Alicia and Morgan are probably my favorite pairing on the show right now. Those two could learn SO much from each other. Morgan always gets to calm her down and bring her back to who she really is. I truly hope Morgan won’t leave because we would miss a lot of awesome scenes without him.

Alicia coping with the loss of her mom, Madison is heartbreaking. She needs Morgan by her side, he is the one keeping her slightly sane. She is showing some good leadership over those last few episodes. Alicia for Queen! YAY!

What’s Coming?

There is a storm coming and you can see the hints all over the episode! All those flying walkers at the beginning made me crack up tho! But this definitely shows that the second half of Season 4 won’t be easy. Not for the characters and definitely not for us fans. Let’s just be excited for the upcoming episodes and where they take us.

Now I think it’s a great time to get the Behind the Scenes videos in here. Check them out right now:
