The Lights Go Out in Christmasland

Charlie Manx’s(Zachary Quinto) daughter Millie(Mattea Conforti) and all the turned children are playing a very disturbing version of hide and seek. A group of teens has come to Charlie’s house to investigate. The children can hear their voices coming from the real world, and see a wall of static. Millie pushes the smallest child through, and he chases the teens a few feet before turning to static and disappearing. The lights blink in Christmasland, and go out, and Millie collapses in the snow.

“Who’s Charlie Manx?”

Vic McQueen(Ashleigh Cummings) is now an artist and mechanic, happily living with Lou Carmody(Jonathan Langdon) and her son, Wayne(Jason David). She struggles with what happened in her past, and has bouts of alcoholism.

Lou comes home with a gift for Wayne; a few minutes later, he asks them “Who’s Charlie Manx?” Panicking at first, Vic eventually sees that the news is featuring that Charlie Manx has died. Vic’s gut tells her that he can’t be dead.

A New Knife

She borrows Lou’s truck, driving to clear her head. She call’s Maggie(Jahkara J. Smith), asking her to consult her tiles about the Wraith. Maggie tells her that she did, years ago, and asks her to let it go-Charlie’s dead, right? Besides, Maggie doesn’t do that anymore. She’s happy with her FBI babe Agent Hutter(Ashley Romans).

While driving, Vic gets a call. A bike has appeared, and she needs to pick it up. It’s her bike/knife(or a very similar one that looks like her bike) that was previously destroyed by Charlie.

She takes Wayne out of school the next day, and they spend the day playing together. The phone rings, and Vic panics again, cutting the phone cord. Every successive phone rings, and Vic puts them in the oven.

Finally, a toy crocodile(alligator?) phone in Wayne’s room rings, and Vic answers it. It is Millie. She threatens Vic, and Vic returns the threat.

Maggie decides to consult her tiles, meanwhile, and even though the tiles confirm the Wraith is dead, she collapses in a seizure on the floor. Luckily, she called 911 to report this before it happened.

Bing Returns

A mostly clean shaven Bing Partridge(Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) has found the Wraith. An artist has removed the engine and replaced it with sunflowers. It will be available for sale in a few days, the artist tells him, for $150,000.00. Bing gets all creepy, giving off major serial killer/manchild vibes for a moment, angry about the high price of the Wraith’s body.

Bad Mother

Vic gathers small bottles of alcohol and gets drunk. A frightened Wayne cowers in his locked room.

Getting on the bike, Vic uses her powers to go to the morgue to see Manx’s body for herself. She finds his body, rib cage removed for an autopsy and lying on the autopsy table. He is very much dead. Taking a scalpel, she angrily stabs him in the heart.

Returning home, she finds the house aflame from the phones she had put in the oven. Lou is there, and she apologizes. Wayne is fine, but Vic decides he is safer with Lou alone. Taking her jacket, she leaves.

The Engine Roars to Life

Bing has returned to the artist’s garage, and has “convinced” him to put the Wraith back together. The car is restored, turning the lights back on in Christmasland. Millie smiles, knowing that her father will be returning. She is correct, as we see a scalpel impaled heart begin beating.
