Spoilers!
Bring Your Daughter to Work Day
Mick(Dominic Purcell) tells Lita(Mina Sundwall) that her mother gave him a weekend with her. She isn’t enthused until he shows her his sweet ride-one of the Waverider’s(voiced by Amy Louise Pemberton) shuttles. Intrigued, she gets on board and Mick takes her to the Waverider, finally revealing to his daughter what he does. They discuss going to see Lita Ford and her band The Runaways in the past.
Weaving with the Loom
Charlie(Maisie Richardson-Sellers) has been meditating, preparing to work the loom.
Gary(Adam Tsekhman) has acquired an emotional support dog, much to everyone’s chagrin. It isn’t ship broken. But Gary has a note from his doctor.
The crew gathers, bickering over who should be brought back first. Constantine(Matt Ryan) wants Astra’s(Olivia Swann) mother first, so he can keep his promise, Ava(Jes Macallan) wants Sara(Caity Lotz) brought back out of her unconsciousness, but Zari(Tala Ashe) wins out, and Behrad will be first.
Charlie uses the Loom, finding Behrad’s convoluted thread that Atropos had cut. But when she tries to fix it, The Loom reacts and throws her and the crew about, damaging the ship.
Sara Awakens
Ava goes to Sara, still unconscious, in the med bay. She holds her hand and tells Sara how much she is needed. Sara awakens, but is blind. When Ava touches her again, she sees a grisly scene-Ava, dead, stabbed to death. Everyone she touches on the ship gives her the vision or their similar deaths. She hides this from everyone.
The Loom is Gone
Cleaning up after his dog, Gary is throwing bagged poo away and sees something in the trash chute. It’s the Loom’s empty case. The rings are gone.
Sabotage
The Waverider lets the crew know that the Loom isn’t to blame for her shutdown. There is a saboteur, but no footage to catch them. So now Lita is stuck on the ship with the crew. Luckily, Nate(Nick Zano) can help her with her studies.
Blaming Astra
Everyone points the finger at Astra for breaking the ship and stealing the Loom. Sara wonders if she is also the murderer(to herself). But as Constantine points out, he has been with her the whole time. Sara still puts Astra under containment, much to Astra’s dismay.
Sara Comes Clean
Charlie confronts Sara. She knows that surviving a god’s true form will bring about changes and gifts. Sara admits that she has been having visions. She uses that gift to see who the murderer is-it’s her. Sara puts herself in containment to protect the crew.
The Treasury
Lita is not impressed with her father’s ability with a gun and the fact that he is the only person on board that she’s met without superpowers. Nate brings up that Mick keeps the ship going with his thieving. He takes her to the treasure room, and her greed takes over, telling Mick all that they can do with the money if they invest it in the past. Seeing her like this shakes Mick, and he takes her away from the room and makes it off limits. Lita angrily locks herself in her study room.
Who’s A Guilty Boy?
Gary brings his dog to Sara in containment. It tells her to kill Gary, and she snaps Gary’s neck.
This is a vision that happens just before Gary actually comes in with the dog. Sara was able to use the vision to realize that the dog was talking.
Zari is able to bring up footage, and everyone is guilty of sabotaging the ship. Seeing that the dog is in every bit of footage, they realize the dog is doing the damage, and erasing their memory, much like the Son of Sam claimed the neighbor’s dog was doing(it really wasn’t).
Gary admits he picked up the dog in hell, and it shows its true form. Running amok, it gets to Lita’s room. Mick hears her screams and forces the doors open. Sadly, his gun doesn’t really work on a hellfire dog, it reminds him. It jumps Mick, ready to tear him apart.
Astra Saves the Crew
Constantine and Sara come to the rescue, and it chases them down a corridor. Sara tells Constantine that she can’t protect him due to her blindness. Constantine reminds her that she’s blind, not deaf. She hears the hell-hound, and is able to dodge it.
Constantine can’t send it back to hell unless he knows its real name. A released Astra knows the beast’s name- Marchosias(voiced by Andrew Morgado), and Constantine is able to send it back to hell.
Fixing the Ship
An apologetic Gary went through the ship’s sewer system and retrieved the pieces of the Loom. He smells really bad. Also, he got another support animal. But it’s OK, it’s not from hell. It’s a rescued bunny.
The ship is repaired, and Sara hopes that the Waverider can fix her blindness. But the ship sees no problems with Sara’s eyes. Sara must remain blind.
