Outlander Wins At The People’s Choice Awards

Outlander Wins--PCAs--Sam Heughan--Richard Rankin--1000x600

Outlander Wins One of The Most Coveted Awards at The People’s Choice Awards

We are so happy that our beloved Outlander has one the Most binge-worthy show award. We here at Fandemonium headquarters were all abuzz voting and watching the show till we heard Outlander Wins… I know I was responsible for one binge-watcher, by introducing our Kristin to the show. We (Jenn, Brina, Kristin, and Tracy) thought it would be fun to chat about this award as well as the seasons so far.

PB: I totally forget this was on last night but I was so excited to wake up this morning and see that Outlander had won for most binge-worthy show. I will be honest though, I have NEVER binge-watched Outlander. I have done it with other shows sure but not this one. My question to you ladies is two parts. One, have you binge-watched Outlander? Two does it make me a bad fan that I haven’t?

Jenn: I’d like to counter first B, why haven’t you binged watched? Have you done a rewatch to catch up before the next season? I have binged.. a few times, if we are being honest. I was watching season 4 yesterday and enjoying a lazy Sunday with Lord John (David Berry), and Roger (Richard Rankin). I got Kristin to binge it and my friend Amy as well.

As far as being a bad fan, there is no such thing. Long as you watch the show or even read thee books or both even you are a fan. Fan how you want B!

Tracy: I don’t have STARZ so I totally binge watch Outlander. I get the DVDs when they come out and instantly download the digital to Vudu. After watching all 4 seasons before Sasnak City this year I’ve decided that I can no longer wait for the DVDs and will be purchasing the STARZ app. B you’re not a bad fan cause just because I download the digital doesn’t mean I start watching right away. There are too many shows and not enough time in the day.

Kristin: I saw this morning that they won Most binge-worthy show. I was super excited and knew it would win. When STARZ had a free trial for 7 days I got it. I ended up binge-watching it for 8 hours and was HOOKED. I watched season 1 to 4 in 12 days after Jenn convinced me to watch it! I am currently reading books.

So yes B, I binged Outlander. And I agree with Jenn and Tracy that you’re not a bad fan. You watching or reading the series makes you a good fan.

What is has been your favorite season so far?

PB: I am gonna have to say season one for me. I just love the beginning and how Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) come together.

Jenn: I look at Outlander the same way {whispers} as I did and do about Twilight. The first one sucks you in and then lookout. I think for me my fave season may have been last season, season 4. I am a huge fan of Richard Rankin, so he was in the episodes more and I was sucked in.

Tracy: I totally have to agree with Jenn and B on season 1 and how it just sucks you right into the story. I also have to agree about Season 4 not just because I finally got to see Richard Rankin after hearing about him from Jenn but also loved Bree and that she finally got to meet Jamie. You truly fall in love with characters and how can you not smile when you see Murtagh and Jocasta. Don’t even get me started on the hotness that is Lord John Grey and Fergus…swoon.

Kristin: I will have to say the first in my favorite. It’s the beginning is where it all starts… Where you fall in love with the story and can’t get enough. But season 3 is my second favorite… I only need to say Lord John Grey (David Berry) and you’ll understand ?

What are you looking forward to the most in the new season?

PB: I am really excited to see how Roger fits in the family and seeing Bree (Sophie Skelton) and Roger together again.

Jenn: I canna wait for season 5. I want and need more Bree and Roger for sure. Also, they have gone away from the books quite a bit, so now it’s a waiting game to see how this comes about. I am also very much looking forward to seeing the babies. So many babies this season. Marsali (Lauren Lyle) and Fergus’s (César Domboy) Roger and Bree. I am also looking forward to more Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix)

Tracy: Since I haven’t read the books I don’t know what to expect next season and that is something that I actually love but also hate at the same time. Again it comes down to not enough time in the day. I wish I could listen to them at work or something but not possible. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens with Bree and Roger of course but also Murtagh and Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy). I’m looking forward to Jamie getting to know Bree more and see how she is adapting to her new life.

Kristin: I’m really excited to see how they proceed with this season. As Jenn has said it differs from the books so I wonder if they will veer the story to match the books or make something else we will love.

What did you think of the video they posted for the acceptance of the award?

Jenn: You mean this video (look below)?

PB:  Yes this video. I thought it was awesome.

Tracy: I absolutely loved this video and had to share it instantly. I loved that Sam and Richard were on set together and it just makes you wonder what they were filming. I loved seeing Cait and Sophie together and their excitement on the win too.

Kristin: OMG! I didn’t see that!! That’s super cute! I love them! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Jenn: I laughed a lot. This cast has so much fun together. They have a bond and it really shows in all they do both on and off the camera.

Jenn: Are you looking forward to Adso Kristin? I know you and I have both read the books, and Adso is coming.

Kristin: Absolutely!! He is definitely cute and I want to take him home!!

Tracy: I had to look it up but I’m looking forward to Adso. I’ll miss seeing Rolo though

Jenn: Did you guys vote for the PCAs? I know I did.. A lot!

PB: Sadly this year I didn’t. I totally forgot.

Tracy: I did vote a few times for Outlander and a few other things.

Kristin: Is snow cold?!? Yes I absolutely voted for Outlander
