NoHo Arts District, CA (March 27, 2016) —  On Tuesday, April 5, 2016, fans of STARZ Original series Outlander will have extraordinary access to an exclusive Television Academy event that will take them behind-the-scenes with the stars and production team of the wildly popular show that has captured the hearts and imaginations of television viewers around the world.

 

Beginning at 7:30 p.m. EDT (4:30 p.m. PDT), the Television Academy will live stream From Scotland To Paris:  The Season Two Journey of Outlander on TelevisionAcademy.com/Events/Outlander.  Held in New York, the event will feature an in-depth panel discussion on the making of the critically-acclaimed series with stars Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan and Tobias Menzies along with showrunner, writer and executive producer Ronald D. Moore, executive producer Maril Davis, costume designer Terry Dresbach, production designer Jon Gary Steele and composer Bear McCreary.

 

The second season of Outlander from Sony Pictures Television will premiere on STARZ on Saturday, April 9th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.  As Outlander moves from the Scottish Highlands to the French Court of Louis XV in Season Two, the accomplished panel of cast and crew, moderated by CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller, will examine what it takes to recreate the magnificent world of 18th- century Paris and Versailles, including the meticulous work of the costume and set departments.

 

In addition, Emmy® Award-winning composer Bear McCreary will perform his new theme for the second season of the celebrated series.
