Occuaption Rainfall Trailer

Occupation: RainfallInvasion was just the beginning

“Occupation: Rainfall” will have its World Premiere screenings on Friday 30th October at Monster Fest 2020 in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. The movie was shot in Australia and it is the direct sequel to 2018’s “Occupation“. The movie takes place two years into an intergalactic invasion of earth, while survivors fight back in a desperate ground war. People are saying that it is one of Australia’s biggest sci-fi movies ever made. Sounds really promising. If you take a closer look at the cast there are people like Ken Jeong (The Hangover), Jason Isaacs (The Harry Potter Franchise), Daniel Gillies (The Vampire Diaries), Jet Tranter (Thor: Ragnarok) and counting.

Trailer

Monster Pictures has released a new teaser trailer where you can get a first impression about how things are going. Without spoiling a thing, I can say that after watching it you will know how dire the situation on earth has become. In addition to that, there may or may not be an uneasy alliance.

See it for yourself – check it out below:

At Dutch Comic Con back in 2018 Daniel told us a bit about his character during his panel. He is playing a military guy, who has an idea about how to save the world against this alien race.

Compared to the other characters he has a lot less diplomacy. This might be due to the fact that he lost his wife to this terrible creatures. So now he just wants to take out this alien race and not negotiate with them.

There is no exact release date yet, but if you believe some sources, then we might be able to watch the movie in February 2021.
