I’m excited to report that Neil Patrick Harris married his long time fiancé David Burtka!
“We happily confirm that Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka were married in Italy in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their close friends and family,” a rep for NPH said.
The couple announced their engagement via Twitter in June 2011 after passage of the Marriage Equality Act in New York. Harris then revealed that they actually got engaged five years earlier, but decided to keep the news a secret. They were dating for more than 10 years. They are parents of twins via a surrogate — Gideon Scott, a boy, and Harper Grace, a girl — were born in 2010.
