Marvel has debuted a new picture from its new series Daredevil.
The series will debut on Netflix in May, with Boardwalk Empire‘s Charlie Cox taking on the title role.
Charlie Coxis seen in his daily life as blind lawyer Matt Murdock in the new shot, while Marvel also showed a previous seen photo of him defending the streets under the guise of Daredevil.
The 13-part series remains true to the Marvel original, with creator Steven S DeKnight promising that the show will have a “gritty, 1970s New York feel”.
“We love the idea of beauty in the decay of the city and Hell’s Kitchen being a place that is both horrible and beautiful at the same time, and that’s why Matt Murdock loves it so much and wants to protect it,” he said.
Daredevil will also star Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, and Elden Henson.
