Previously on Manifest…

Ben (Josh Dallas) and Vance (Daryl Edwards) are in Cuba to follow up on the tailfin. Upon touching it, Ben is thrown backward. A local boy was able to take a short video of the scene with his phone. After showing the video to some kids, a Cuban policeman appears and wants to know what’s going on. When he got to see the video, he forces Ben to do it all over again, but Vance arrives to save the day. After that, Ben and Vance’s associate get on a plane to escape, leaving Vance to be apprehended by the DGI.

Meanwhile Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) and Zeke (Matt Long) are on their honeymoon in Costa Rica. Cal (Jack Messina) discovers a recent calling he’s experienced with Michaela and Ben. It’s all about a passenger called Angelina Meyer (Holly Taylor). Upon investigation, Michaela realizes Angelina is being held captive by her parents, religious missionaries living in Costa Rica. They believe their daughter is possessed. She rescues Angelina and is joining Ben to rescue the group.

A woman visits the 129th precinct and talks to Jared (J.R. Ramirez), revealing she hasn’t heard from her mother Kathryn Fitz (Elizabeth Marvel).

Ben and Michaela are talking about the tailfin, now strongly believing that Flight 828 exploded and killed everyone. One theory could be that they were resurrected for still-unknown reasons. In the end Jace (James McMenamin), Pete (Devin Harjes), and Kory (Dazmann Still) are emerging from the now-thawed lake and coming back to life. To be continued…
