CBS released the official synopsis and sneak peek clips of the series finale of MacGyver. Check out the description below, as well as the sneak peek video.

Synopsis

“Abduction + Memory + Time + Fireworks + Dispersal” – When Mac and Riley go missing and wake up 24 hours later in a corn field with no memory of how they got there, they must unravel the mystery to find who took them, and how to get rid of the nanotrackers in their bodies, no matter the cost, on the series finale of MACGYVER, Friday, April 30 (8:009:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

X-Files Vibe

The episode has a real X-Files mythology vibe to it, and I am present and accounted for when it comes to that. Not sure who is Scully in this scenario, but Bozer and Russ will tie for Mulder’s position(or The Lone Gunmen. All of them. Wait, Riley could be one, too…).

The End of A Great Show

I will be sad to see MacGyver go. The cast has great chemistry together, and seem to be great people off the screen. I hope we can at least get a few TV movies out of the show. Or, y’know, un-cancel it. Make sure you make your voice heard by watching the finale, and letting the network see those numbers!

The MacGyver series finale airs Friday, April 30th at 8 PM ET on CBS
