Lauren Bacall Dies: Actress, Humphrey Bogart Wife Dead at 89

Lauren Bacall, the smoldering Golden Age actress and fashion model who was a central figure of the film noir genre with husband Humphrey Bogart, whom she met on the set of her first feature film To Have and Have Not, has died, according to multiple reports. She was 89.

Her death was first reported by MSNBC reporter Thomas Roberts, and shortly after was corroborated by TMZ, which said she had suffered a massive stroke.
