Premiere creator of art toys, Kidrobot, announces pre-sale for hand-beaded art sculptures and exclusive figures with CHIA Pet and Sanrio before Friday’s Designer Con 2020 Virtual Event
Kidrobot is bringing Designer Con to fans this year with some exciting Kidrobot exclusives for their Kidrobot x DCON 2020 Virtual Con event on their website, Kidrobot.com. Kidrobot is giving fans the chance to secure exclusives and pre-order incredible custom art pieces from the comfort of their homes as they take their comic con booth online! Starting Friday, November 13th at 10am MT / Noon ET, Kidrobot will release four Comic Con Exclusives and 6 unique custom art figure pre-orders on Kidrobot.com.
KIDROBOT x DCON 2020 VIRTUAL CON PREVIEW
Kidrobot is honored to partner with Arte Marakame and a village of artisan natives of the Wixarika communities of Tatei-Kie (San Andres Cohamiata) and La Laguna of the Sierra Madre Occidental in the Jalisco state of Mexico for a new series of custom hand-beaded art pieces for the Kidrobot x DCON 2020 Virtual Con on Kidrobot.com. These artists spend up to 400 hours on each art piece applying up to 90 thousand beads by hand to tell a story of their culture. Kidrobot was founded on the idea of bringing art to life from all types of artistry across the globe. We are excited to give Kidrobot collectors the opportunity to pre-order this second series of handcrafted Dunny and Labbit art pieces depicting imagery of history and culture, each telling a different story.
Titles of the pieces are in the Wixarika (Huichol) language, which is the indigenous community name that does this work. Their meanings are related to the symbols captured in every piece, sacred places in their culture, their Gods, the sacred plant (peyote), spirits, among others.
For the second series of Arte Marakame Custom Beaded Dunnys and Labbits, Kidrobot.com will be taking pre-orders for a limited amount of time. The ONLY way to order is to place a pre-order at Kidrobot.com during the limited window of time. We have provided 18 color combinations to choose from when placing your order. The artist will use the selected color combination to create a one-of-a-kind design inspired by their native culture. The artist will create a one-of-a-kind hand beaded masterpiece for you.
Prices range from $150 – $3650.

Kidrobot teamed up with Sanrio for three Con Exclusive 3″ Vinyl Figures as an extension of the Kidrobot x Hello Sanrio Mini Series These three 3” figures are Sanrio fan favorites and packed with delectable cuteness in hamburger and ice cream forms. Each limited edition figure is limited to 350 with half the first half of the set quantity sold-out at LA Comic Con and the rest saved for the Kidrobot x DCON 2020 Virtual Con Event. Collect all three Friday the 13th ONLY on Kidrobot.com, while supplies last.
