This week, Jurassic World, became the 3rd top grossing film of all time, surpassing The Avengers. With this feat also came the news that there is a sequel in the works and it is slated to be released on June 22, 2018.
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return to star in the film, while Steven Spielberg will be an executive producer.
Jurassic World has opened worldwide, except Japan, which happens August 5. To date, over $1.52 billion has been sold on ticket sales alone.
