Rumor has it the Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games) are in talks to star in Sony’s sci-fi love story Passengers.
Morten Tyldum, director of this years The Imitation Game, has nearly closed the deal to direct the film.
Passengers is set on a spacecraft in the future, with thousands of passengers making an interstellar voyage to a distant planet. One passenger awakens from cryogenic sleep 90 years before anyone else and decides to wake up a female passenger, sparking the beginning of a love story. (Variety)
It sounds like the only issues that the cast is facing at the moment is scheduling conflicts. Both Pratt and Lawrence are sought after and already have many projects in the works.
