Jimmy Fallon gets 6 more years on the Tonight Show

News has just been announced that NBC has extended Jimmy Fallon’s contract till 2021, so that is 6 more years of his great show for us all to enjoy. Jimmy Fallon took over the show in 2014 and brought with him the house band called The Roots.

The Tonight show has celebrities being interviewed, they may also play games and then add a comedic or musical guest performing on the night as well. Most recently Jimmy had Ben Kingsley and Henry Cavill on the show and Reba McEntire performing.

The tonight show happens on weekday evenings so there may be a mention of the news on the programme tonight or this week, I’m sure it will be mentioned at some point, knowing they have 6 more years must be a big talking point when planning ahead and knowing who to get on the show.
