It’s Friday again, so it’s time for the weekly addition of Hottie of the Week! This week I was trolling Instragram and liking pics here and there. And after one click, I realized that I have never featured this man in my hottie column. The travesty!!
Alex Pettyfer, an English-born model and actor, is probably most recognizable from 2012’s Magic Mike, where he portrayed Adam “The Kid”. But he does have a pretty decent resume to go along with that. A few other tidbits about him though. In his earlier days, he was a model for Burberry. He was offered the part of Jace in City of Bones? Obviously he didn’t take it since the part was played by Jamie Campbell Bower, but still. In one of his first films, Stormbreaker (2006), Pettyfer was nominated for Best Performance in an International Feature Film Leading Young Actor or Actress (Young Artists Awards) as well as the Best Male Newcomer Award (Empire Awards). He also had a smaller role in the Award winning movie The Butler.
And, to top it off, in August 2009, the British magazine Glamour ranked him number 21 on their list of the sexiest men on the planet. So needless to say, he’s pretty well-rounded. That’s a big reason why he’s made it this far.
