DC Universe Titans gets first trailer at SDCC 2018

DC Universe Titans

DC are taking a step towards matching the Marvel Studios/Netflix team ups. They are launching DC Universe, their own streaming platform, some time in the next year. The brand new, live action DC Universe Titans series will be heading their line-up.

Check out the first trailer from SDCC:

Starring Brenton Thwaites who prowls in the shadows as Dick Grayson, perhaps better known as Nightwing, the new show is a much darker tone to what viewers might be used to seeing from DC shows on The CW. Certainly that “F*ck Batman” line from Grayson has attracted a lot of attention!

Teagan Croft also stars as Raven, the daughter of a powerful demon whose dark powers are controlled by her emotions.

Also joining the cast is Ryan Potter, who portraits Beast Boy, a green-skinned teen who can turn into any animal he can think of. Starfire, played by Anna Diop, is a fugitive alien princess with the ability to fly and shoot energy from her hands.

Someone who is familiar with DC properties, having played Arthur Curry in Smallville, Alan Ritchson (Blood Drive) is also on board, alongside Minka Kelly as Hawk and Dove.

There is no confirmed premiere date for DC Universe Titans yet, but we will keep you posted.

About author(s)

Clare Hemsworth

Hey, I'm Clare, aka Ciara or C. My current fandoms are RWBY and The Last Kingdom along with a bunch of other stuff I tend to let build up and then binge! I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal! When I'm not doing the fangirl thing I am a keen long-distance hiker, having completed Te Araroa in New Zealand and The Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the US.
