DC Joins Forces With Rooster Teeth at RTX
Legendary global comic brand, DC, has partnered with fellow Warner Bros. company and pioneering digital entertainment brand, Rooster Teeth, to bring its unmatched Super Hero characters and stories to RTX, Rooster Teeth’s annual fan convention and Texas’s largest animation, gaming and comedy experience.
RTX takes place July 5-7 in Austin, Texas at the Austin Convention Center, JW Marriott, Fairmont and Hilton hotels.
RTX badge holders will have exclusive access to panels and screenings from DC UNIVERSE Original Animated Series Young Justice: Outsiders as part of the RTX Animation Festival, be the first to hear special announcements from DC about the upcoming RWBY and gen:LOCK comics, and shop limited edition Batman 80th merchandise. DC UNIVERSE’s news show, DC Daily, will be on the scene, sharing the excitement in real time with the DC fandom.
Young Justice: Outsiders
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the first half of Young Justice: Outsiders premiered January exclusively on digital subscription service DC UNIVERSE. Fans reunited with familiar faces, discovered new heroes and were introduced to the growing threat of metahuman teen trafficking and the intergalactic arms race for control of these super-powered youths. During their RTX Animation Festival panel, series producer Brandon Vietti will share insight on what fans can expect from upcoming episodes of Young Justice: Outsiders, premiering in July, and share an exclusive sneak peek of the show.
Batman at 80
In celebration of 80 years of Batman, DC will have exclusive merch, on sale at DC’s Pop-Up and Super Hero Experience presented by DC UNIVERSE located on the RTX convention floor.
Rooster Teeth Comics!
Last year, Rooster Teeth announced a partnership with DC to bring out RWBY and gen:LOCK comics in 2019. RTX attendees will hear exclusive announcements about the comics and get a sneak peek at both upcoming series.

Now in its ninth year, RTX will pack downtown Austin for three days and nights to play the newest unreleased video games, see top internet celebrities in live shows and panels, and experience the best in animation, gaming, and comedy. Special guests this year include content creators Olan Rogers, Philip DeFranco, SungWon Cho (ProZD) and Jessica Nigri, actors Blake Anderson, Nolan North and Troy Baker. Rooster Teeth will host live versions of their most famous podcasts including The Rooster Teeth Podcast, Off Topic and Always Open, and panels for their most popular shows including RWBY, Red vs Blue and gen:LOCK.
