Vixen to return, played by new actress
It was reported a little while ago across various sources that Vixen, the character introduced in s4 of Arrow, would be joining Legends of Tomorrow but played by a different actress. While Megalyn E-K was the first to play the live action Vixen, she will not be returning in the role. Instead Maisie Richardson-Sellers will be taking on the challenge.
Maisie recently appeared (very briefly) in Star Wars: The Force Awakens but is most likely known to the CW’s audience for her time on The Originals. She played the witch, Eva Sinclair, who Rebekah Mikaelson was body jumped into for a time during the second and third seasons.

So while Vixen may be joining the Legends team, it won’t be the same one we saw in Arrow.
Maisie is a terrific actress, she was wonderful on The Originals and did a brilliant job of channelling Claire Holt’s Rebekah and then created a markedly different character in Eva Sinclair. I can’t wait to see what she adds to the team.
