Season 2 of Jane the virgin hasn’t even started yet and we have great news that Britney Spears will be appearing in episode 5 of the season as Rogelio’s nemesis.

Jane the Virgin is a show centred around a devout woman named Jane (Gina Rodriguez), she is shocked to learn that she was accidentally artificially inseminated and is now pregnant. To make things worse the donor Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is a married man who owns the hotel Jane is currently working at and throughout the first season their relationship is rather complicated. Jane’s biological Father Rogelio (Jaime Camil) wants to talk to Jane’s mother Xo (Andrea Navedo) and at that point is completely unaware that Jane exists. I think complicated doesn’t cover Jane’s whole situation here.
So in season 1 we have heard from Rogelio’s point of view why he and Britney are completely at odds and now in season 2 we can get the other side of the story when Britney makes her appearance in the fifth episode.
Jane the virgin is due to return to the CW in October, many fans will be excited to see what happens in the new season.
