CW Seed to bring another Justice League member to (computer) screens

It was announced today at the Television Critics Association that the CW would be adding yet another DC name to it’s show roster.

Expected to debut in the fall of 2015 the show will be an online animated version of Vixen, a member of the Justice League, and will share a universe with the CW’s existing DC shows Arrow and The Flash (both of which have just been renewed for another season by the network).

As shown here on some promotional artwork Vixen is the alias of Mari Jiwe McCabe, who uses a mystical Tantu totem that gives her the abilities of one animal at a time.

Originally from Africa, Mari’s parents were killed by local greed, corruption, and wanton violence. The orphaned Mari refused to succumb to the terrors surrounding her instead, after inheriting her family’s Tantu totem, Mari used the powers of animals – anything from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah – to fight to protect the world from threats like those that claimed her family.

Hey, I'm Clare, aka Ciara or C. My current fandoms are RWBY and The Last Kingdom along with a bunch of other stuff I tend to let build up and then binge! I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal! When I'm not doing the fangirl thing I am a keen long-distance hiker, having completed Te Araroa in New Zealand and The Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the US.
