The Wrap reported earlier this morning that Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) will be replacing Benedict Cumberbatch in the adaptation of David Grann’s best seller, Lost City of Z.
If reports are correct, Hunnam will take over the role of Percival Fawcett, a British colonial who disappeared in the 1920s while searching for a mythical city in the Amazon jungles of Brazil. Hunnam will be joining a cast that already includes Robert Pattinson and Sienna Miller.
Cumberbatch reportedly left the movie due to scheduling conflicts with Marvel’s Doctor Strange.
