Captain America: Civil War to begin shooting

Chris Evans as Captain America

Marvel seems to be on the warpath lately.  In April, they have the new Daredevil series starting on Netflix, followed by the release of the next big movie Avengers: Age of Ultron.  But also in April we will see another new movie starting to film.

Captain America: Civil War will begin shooting around April 1 in Atlanta. Casting notices have been placed looking for extras for the film.  The newest film in the series will bring back Chris Evans as Captain America along with Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie and Jeremy Renner.  Also back are two directors from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo.

A quick synopsis of the movie reveals:

Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies. (Collider)

The big question now is, with the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron this year, what could have happened to cause a rift between the former allies?

I guess we will have to wait until May 2016 to find out!
