Bob Iger in talks to allow dying fan to see Rise Of Skywaker early?
Rowans Hospice tweeted on 26th that they have a fan whom is a massive fan of Star Wars and wishes to see the movie with his son. Unfortunately time isn’t something this fan has to spare so they have politely sent out a tweet asking if anyone could help them.
Can you help? We have a patient who’s a HUGE #StarWars fan. Sadly, time is not on his side for the 20th Dec. His wish is to see the final Star Wars film #RiseOfSkywalker with his young son. If you know ANYBODY who might be able to make it happen, please share with them. Thank you

Mr. Bob Iger, Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company has kindly stepped in and said he will “certainly try.” Now whilst that isn’t a resounding “yes” it’s still a small glimmer of hope for this unfortunate fan.
The film, not being released until 19 December, is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Finalising the Skywalker Saga and (hopefully) answering all the questions the fans have had up until now.
Please provide me with the necessary details and we will certainly try.

I hope he gets to see the movie before his time is up. And I hope it brings him and his son endless joy.
(Ed – This reminds me of a movie called Fanboys from 2009, although that was a slightly more raucous effort to achieve a similar end. I truly hope that this fan gets his wish.)
