First Look: Bill Nye makes his Blindspot debut
NEWS my dear Blindspot fans – Bill Nye will have his debut on Blindspot and EW gave us a first look!
Blindspot is going to its ultimate showdown between Roman and the FBI and the team will get help from a surprising ally.
What do we know so far?
Bill will appear as himself being a renowned sience educator and ALSO the father of FBI forensic scientist Patterson!
Blindspot boss Martin Gero who already teamed up with Bill Nye on Stargate Atlantis says:
Bill has been a friend for 10 years now, and when we started to talk about who could possibly play Patterson’s (Ashley Johnson) father, I could think of no better person. He was a complete joy to work with. His scenes are some of the best we’ve done this year!
When it comes to Ashley Johnson, they had a blast filming together. Martin Gero was teasing her since season 2 that Nye may play her father on the show.

Off camera, Nye’s time on set turned into one big geekfest – she “nerded out” with Nye every day. “I basically just picked his brain about every little thing that I could. I was incredibly nervous to meet him because I’ve been such a huge fan of his, (but) he really was a dream to work with and far exceeded my expectations.
Huge news if you ask me and we FINALLY (after only three full seasons) know Patterson’s actual name!
