Star Wars: Will Obi-Wan Get His Own Movie??
Rumor has it that we could see a stand alone Star Wars movie in the future, featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi. Star Wars fans have been in heaven these last few years. Three movies have already been released on DVD/Blu-Ray. Add in the new Solo film that is on its way to the theaters this month. Now, what more could fanboys and fangirls ask for? Well let’s bring on another back story to one of the most prominent characters of the series!
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan Kenobi could be next to hit the big screen in his own movie. News hit the web showing Disney’s and Lucas Films plans for the up coming Star Wars Episode IX production, starting later this summer and finishing up at the end of the year. Rumors also say that Obi-Wan Kenobi movie is to begin filming in the Spring of 2019 with a release date December 2020. Sadly no casting information as of yet. (Source)
I hope these rumors are true. I would love to this Obi-Wan growing up and seeing how he becomes so powerful. But that would also mean would we get to see a young Yoda? Who am I kidding I would rather have a stand-a-lone Yoda movie, but I will totally be happy with Obi-Wan movie.
