Jamie Dornan’s serial Killer Paul Spector and Gillian Anderson’s Metropolitan Police Detective Stella Gibson will be back for a third season on BBC TWO. I wasn’t 100% sure myself that they would come back with a third season. Especially with how the second ended in the good old television cliff-hanger way, it was how you were left not knowing what would happen next, leaving it so you were not sure that they could return. I am so pleased that they will be filming again this year, they will be adding major security to the locations due to Jamie’s massive new following of fans.
The show was one of the BBC’s top rated in 2014 with an average of 3.3 million watching on BBC 2 as it aired and it gathered such pace that it gained an extra point 3 million by the time the Finale aired. If you are a fan like me, you will be wondering what will happen in this new season with another 5 episode run of suspense and spine chilling at times thriller. Spector has some guts in how he knew the police were after him, how he stayed in the area to continue as he did, the crimes he committed were evil but you could always see a good side when he spoke to his daughter and how he dealt with certain situations. Gibson a career minded go getter who will always obtain what she sets her sights on, which ranged from personal choices through to getting the man she was sent to catch, she herself has a confidence and manner to her that we have come to like in how she deals with things head on and doesn’t back down.
