Attack On Titan Episode 64 Review
Attack On Titan episode 64 and Finally! The Attack Titan is here!
The war to end everything is about to begin. Eren has finally revealed himself to both Falco and Reiner.
He’s made it clear he’s been planning this for a while. Though he does admit that both the people in Paradis and the Marleyans are all victims here.

For now. On with episode 64.
Overview
We start the episode were 63 left off. Waiting for Lord Tybur’s speech. Everyone who is everyone is gathered around to hear what he has to say.
Meanwhile Eren is underground below a housing complex with his hand cut. Reiner can’t get over seeing his old “friend” again and immediately looks like he’s crapped himself ten times over, meanwhile Pieck and Porco are lured into a trap where they can’t transform and the worriors are split up and separated.
Mr. Tyber onstage tells the story of King Fritz and the original Titans and elaborates by saying that this is a false history told to Eldians to keep them in fear of Paradis. He encourages the world to join him in the war to come just as Eren transforms and bursts out from underneath the stage. Killing Mr. Tyber.
That’s a basic overview. Very very basically. The war has now begun.
Review
Episode 64 is amazing. It’s tense, emotional, and finally shows what all the sneaking around has been for. There are some tiny moments where Eren’s true plan is a little clearer. Parts like when he’s chatting to Reiner about being the bad guy and may even destroy the world, he reaches over and scratches his right ear, just as Zeke does.
He also uses the word comrades, not friends, to say where the letters were going. Meaning they very well could be going to people already inside the walls.
There are tiny moments of clarity for Falco as he first feels betrayed but then starts to feel for Eren when he recalls what happened the day Reiner and Co. Broke through the walls.
The next episode will show the actual war and destruction that Eren amd friends will bring to Marley and as much as I feel for them I’m so looking forward to it!
The final war has begun. Who knows how it’ll end.
