The as-yet un-named Arrow/Flash spin-off which is so far set to star Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Victor Garber, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell has added another name to the roster.
Ciara Renee will play Kendra Saunders, aka Hawkgirl in the spin-off which is currently looking at a mid-season launch.
According to deadline.com “Saunders is a young woman who is just beginning to learn that she has been repeatedly reincarnated over the centuries. When provoked, her ancient warrior persona manifests itself, along with wings that grow out of her back, earning her the moniker Hawkgirl.”
The character of Hawkgirl did appear in season 9 of Smallville which means that, if previous reports are true, there are 3 new characters yet to be announced, DC characters who have never appeared on TV before.
