‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ will be Jennifer Lawrence’s last

Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique

Jennifer Lawrence has confirmed that the upcoming X-Men film X-Men: Apocalypse will be her last in the franchise.  Lawrence has portrayed the role of Mystique in both X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past, but the part in Apocalypse is said to be larger.

In an interview with MTV News, Lawrence stated that “It will be my last one, actually” in reference to her role as Mystique.

With one franchise getting ready to wrap up shortly (The Hunger Games), Lawrence may be able to get a break and have more flexibility when it comes to choosing roles.  The commitment she has given to both The Hunger Games and X-Men has had her working steadily while she takes on other roles as well.

So where will this lead her to next?  It seems as though she has quite the chemistry working with Bradley Cooper and whatever they star in together is successful.  Will she stay going down the path with those type of roles or will she branch out.

I guess we just have to wait and see.
