TNT the network that brought us The Librarians, Animal Kingdom, and Good Behavior has unleashed two new series for this summer. The first drama TNT brought us was Claws, and the new drama Will is debuting Monday July 10th at 9PM.
A little about Will:
A drama about the lost years of young William Shakespeare after his arrival to London in 1589 — when theatre was like rock and roll and a young man with a dream changed the world with his words. Newcomer Laurie Davidson plays the title role in this period drama told in a bold, contemporary style and played to a modern soundtrack that exposes all of Shakespeare’s recklessness, lustful temptations, and tortured brilliance.
Will was created by Craig Pearce.

It’s 1589, a time of religious turmoil in Protestant England when to be Catholic could be a death sentence – Will Shakespeare (Laurie Davidson) arrives from the small town of Stratford to the wild streets of London with little more than a dream and a treacherous letter… This week’s episode is directed by Shekhar Kapur and written by Craig Pearce.
Will airs on Mondays at 9PM ET/PT on TNT
