Fox appears intent on a course correction for Gotham heading into Season 2.
Instead of focusing on a kinda very boring and very young Bruce Wayne, the show is hyping this fall as “The Rise of the Villains,” releasing a sneak peek that gives us a look at James Frain as a bad guy named Theo.
He’s speaking to a number of criminals, such Jerome (The Joker?) and Barbara, Jim Gordon’s presumed-ex fiancee who is more interesting in this brief clip than in all of her Gotham Season 1 appearance combined.
He has an offer for these villains, one he says will basically give them the “world.”
And, the network hopes, will give this promising series a shot of adrenaline.
