The year was 1996….I was 19yrs old, Bill Clinton was the president, Mel Gibson wasn’t crazy yet, everyone wanted Jerry Maguire to “Show me the money” and you could still get music on a cassette tape. I happened to wear my single tape of this song out. 1996 was also a pretty good year for female singers. So many of my still favorite female singers and groups topped the tracks that year.
Today’s TBT is a bit of a one hit wonder but I love these chicks. One of my favorite lyrics comes from this song, “Naked is a state of mind”. No clue why I love it so but I do. Maybe you have heard of them or maybe not but either way, the song is badass and so is the video. Enjoy!
