Our tongues were wagging when Entertainment Weekly released the cover for their latest issue, the Outlander cover, featuring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, on it.
The issue, on newsstands now, is all about Outlander and its stars, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan.
“We’ve got the stars of Outlander in various states of undress, however smelling salts are not included in case you’re starting to feel faint from all the hotness on the cover,” Entertainment Weekly editor Henry Goldblatt jokes in the latest episode of Story Behind the Story.
The hit show on Starz returns for season 2 in April, and Goldblatt said fan interest in the time-travel romance series is what led to this special cover.
“Quite frankly, I was listening to all of you that we should put this on the cover, and, wow, I’m so glad we did,” he said.
