The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is finally available for sale at your local stores, or online.  The third movie in the series was released in the US on March 6th 2015.    The DVD and Blu-Ray will have a run time of 5 hours, which will include deleted scenes, the music video for Lorde’s Yellow Flicker Beat, a featurette on Phillip Seymour Hoffman and much more.

There are also 3 special editions on offer in the US – the Target digipak with an extra 45 minutes of bonus features unavailable everywhere else, the Best Buy steelbook, and the Wal-Mart exclusive pack with an exclusive featurette on Vudu. (Source)

Mockingjay, which is the final book in the trilogy, is being broken up into Part One and Part Two.  Principal photography on both films was shot in 2013-2014.  Mockingjay Part Two is set to hit theaters on November 20, 2015 in the United States in the IMAX 3D format as well as regular 3D and 2D.

The cast for the films include Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), and Donald Sutherland (President Snow).
