It isn’t very often that a movie trailer tease make the national news but last night the oh so amazing forty seconds or so of the new “Star Wars” movie did just that.
The clip is definitely vehicle driven with all sorts of cruisers and ships, including one bad ass X-wing that seems to be able to skim a planet’s surface close enough to take the rooftops off of dwellings. But the ship that made my heart beat just a bit faster was the sight of the Millennium Falcon as it broke for space under the swell of a very familiar soundtrack.
Sure, there are going to be doubters, we did suffer through Jar Jar Binks after all and that is enough to make the most hardcore Star Wars fan cringe. However, this early holiday treat makes me greedy for more and I can’t wait to for more trailers that start to reveal where we are going in this universe.
