Star Trek: Discovery Gets Miniseries Called Short Treks
Another awesome news form San Diego Comic-Con Fandemaniacs! During the Star Trek: Discovery Comic-Con Panel, the shows co-creator and executive producer Alex Kurtzman announced a miniseries. The four-part series will air this fall and is called Star Trek: Short Treks.
Each of the four episodes will be around 10-15 minutes long and will focus more on the specific characters and themes explored on Discovery.
Rainn Wilson will return to portrait Harry Mund in a short and will also direct. Aldis Hodge will star in another part of the miniseries as Craft. A Man who finds himself as the only human on board of a deserted ship. Following the miniseries we will get a deeper view of Saru’s (Dough Jones) backstory and Tilly’s (Mary Wiseman) journey aboard the Discovery.
