This week for soundtrack Sunday, as we are now in December we have one of my Favourite Christmas movies and its amazing Soundtrack. A Muppets Christmas Carol is the best way to get children interested in The Classic Charles Dickens Tale of how one man who hated Christmas and was the greatest miser of them all, is visited by 3 spirits on Christmas Eve who take him on a journey to see what went wrong and what can go wrong, in hoping to change his ways.

In this telling of the tale we see Michael Caine as Scrooge, his business is helped by Bob Cratchet who is played by Kermit the frog, he of course is married to Miss Piggy. The tale is told by The Great Gonzo as he pretends he is Charles Dickens and he is accompanied by Rizzo the Rat. Using the creations of Walt Disney Pictures and Jim Henson Productions it tells the classic in such a way that children will love it, especially the upbeat tunes and fun placed into the tale that can be scary at times.
