Salem: Coming to Haunt You

Salem is an American historical fiction drama television series created by Adam Simon and Brannon Braga airing on WGN America beginning April 20, 2014. It is the first original-scripted series by WGN America. Premiering tonight, check your local listings to find out when and where. We didn’t even know we had WGN on our channel line-up.

Why should we watch Salem? Well Shane West is in it for one. And well we have vampires all over the place (not that we are complaining) so maybe it’s time for something new and unique with Witches. Who knows what more may be in store for us, it’s worth giving it a shot.

They have been showing us commercials and sneak peeks, in between most of our fave “teen” show lineups. Let’s give it a chance, beyond the first show, it may take a while for it to set up and draw us in.

“Set in the volatile world of 17th century Massachusetts, ‘Salem’ explores what really fueled the town’s infamous witch trials and dares to uncover the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind the veil of this infamous period in American history. In Salem, witches are real, but they are not who or what they seem.”

So are you going to be tuning in?
