Picture this…the seedy side of Los Angeles in the 1970’s. A private detective (played by Ryan Gosling) and a racketeer (played by Russell Crowe) team up to find a missing actress. That is the basis of The Nice Guys, a Warner Bros crime thriller directed by Shane Black.
Today it was announced that the leading female roles have been cast. Joining Gosling and Crowe will be Angourie Rice and Margaret Qualley.
Rice will play Gosling’s daughter who likes to occasionally tag along with her dad.
Qualley portrays a social activist who resembles a porn star named Misty Mountains.
The movie will shoot in Los Angeles and Atlanta in November.
